This handwoven plaid is the result of a collaboration with Studio Klessmann in Berlin. Christina Klessmann is a textile designer, living and working in Berlin and is specialised in hand-loom weaving. We developed 5 plaids on the basis of the colors, textures and materials of my handbag collection.
Each plaid is unique and truly one of a kind. To emphasize the handwoven character, each plaid has some irregular thin lines in additional colors. Those are the `disruptors´ to break the symmetry. According to the Japanese aesthetic concept of Wabi Sabi, the true beauty lies in imperfection. It is about the constant flow, the impermanent and the acceptance of imperfection.

The plaids are handwoven in a combination of Italian wool and Swedish linen.
